National Institute of Statistics: Completion of household units drops to 26,650 at nine months this year

Number of residential units completed in the first nine months of this year decreased to 26,654, according to data released by National Statistics Institute. The volume reduced with 2430 units compared to the same period of last year, due to the decrease registered in the number of houses and apartments financed by private funds.

'On average, analysis on residence housing highlights the increase of completed dwellings in rural areas, with 56.7 percent. The distribution of the financing funds to completion of housing units shows that, compared to the corresponding period of preceding year,  the number of dwellings built with private funds, decreased by 2,358 homes, while the number of house units built with public funds decreased by 72 houses, “it said in a statement the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

In the third quarter of this year, some 10,588 housing units have been sold to owners, data usage, down by 690 homes compared to the same period of 2011.
